Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy a monthly package, hire me to build a website, or join the Sudbury Founding Business Program with Sebastien Parent Media, run by Sebastien Parent in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. If a signed written agreement or quote says something different, that agreement wins.

Monthly packages

• The Starter and Growth packages are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in Canadian dollars. Growth Plus is custom-quoted and billed monthly in advance at the price agreed in writing. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout or on your invoice.
• They are month-to-month, with no long-term contract. You can cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Because work for each month starts as soon as it's paid for, payments for the current month aren't refunded.
• Each package has a set scope, listed on the website. Anything beyond it (extra videos, graphics or one-off campaigns) is quoted separately, and I'll get your approval before starting.

Websites

• Website projects are quoted in writing before any work begins. The quote sets out the scope, price, timeline and payment schedule.
• Hosting, domain names and paid software or plugins are billed separately, at cost.

Sudbury Founding Business Program

• Selected businesses receive 90 days of Growth-package services with no service fee.
• In exchange, you agree to let me use the work in my portfolio and share before-and-after statistics, and to give honest feedback. If you're happy with the results, I'll ask for a testimonial.
• There's no obligation to continue after 90 days. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid package.
• Third-party costs (ad budgets, printing, paid software, photography expenses) are not included. They're only incurred if you approve them.

Advertising budgets

Ad spend is always approved by you and paid directly to the platform (for example Meta or Google). It's never included in package prices.

Your responsibilities

• Give me reasonable access to the accounts I'm managing, and timely feedback or approvals.
• Only provide logos, photos and other material that you have the right to use.

Ownership

Once paid for, the content I create for your business (posts, graphics, videos and website content) is yours to use. Your accounts always stay in your name. I may show completed work in my portfolio unless you ask me not to. Founding program clients agree to portfolio use as part of the program.

No guaranteed results

Marketing results depend on many things outside anyone's control. I promise consistent, professional work and honest reporting, but I can't guarantee specific sales, leads, followers or rankings.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim relating to my services is limited to the fees you paid me in the three months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
